Breakfast
Breakfast is the first meal of the day usually eaten in the morning, right after you wake up. The word "breakfast" refers to breaking the fasting period of the previous night.
The saying “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” was invented by James Caleb Jackson and John Harvey Kellogg to promote their breakfast cereal.
The saying "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper" was invented by American writer and nutritionist, Adelle Davis.
Some people prefer to skip breakfast and that's ok too. Other people like savory breakfast. Personally, breakfast is my favorite, and I believe oatmeal is life. Also, Nespresso oat milk latte is never missing in my breakfast.
Just keep it simple: Build your plate with 50% starches and 50% non-starchy vegetables. Cook them however you want, and remember no oil.
